1. Samsung PN50C8000 Review at cnet

Ever since we tested the Panasonic TC-PVT25 series in June, we’ve been itching to compare it directly with Samsung’s flagship 3D-compatible plasma HDTV for 2010. After finally getting the chance to review the Samsung PNC8000 series–the odds-on favorite, if there is one, to defeat the Panasonic–we can declare the verdict in this dogfight: Panasonic by a black nose.

2. Samsung PN50C8000 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

Up for Review: Samsung PN50C8000 Plasma TV. The Samsung PN50C8000 is a 50” Plasma HDTV, and one of the smaller sets in Samsung’s Class 8000 product line. It’s a 3D model, which has 1080p. It is an ultra modern model.

This TV is great for those that can’t decide if they want to watch TV, or play on the computer. Much like smart phones and the iTouch, users can download Samsung-created apps. And similar to the app store you’ve likely already used on iTunes, there add-ons are many of the same applications you’ve already become familiar with. If you like watching videos, following sports, or networking socially, there are apps you will recognize and almost certainly use.
